Synopsis

Pierre, a worker in a glass factory, wants to improve his family’s station in life, and is not afraid to work hard to achieve this. When he learns that a better-paid position is open on the plant’s night shift, he requests to be transferred. He soon discovers that the late-shift staff is different: he is treated with contempt and slowly becomes a victim of moral harassment…
